Carrousel - Reservar uma mesa

This cafe had been recommended to us so we had high expectations. Those expectations were fully met when we entered this bright little coffee shop and we greeted by a warm and friendly proprietor. The decor is bright clean and chic. The selection of items...on offer is varied and seem just right for breakfast or light lunch. The food is nicely cooked and the prices are fair. The selection of home cooked cakes were wonderful and taste as good as they look. This cafe is open all year round which is a definite bonus when so many venues in Eymet disappear when the cold weather arrives. There is a warm feel to this place, its homely, the owners are friendly and you are made to feel welcome.

Carrousel was our rendezvous point for lunch with dear friends and we were delighted with our choice among all the restaurants/cafés in charming Eymet. The café is atmospheric even though it is small but there are options to sit upstairs as well as downstairs and...sidewalk seating would be a great choice in good weather. We selected a variety of items from the menu: homemade vegetable soup, club sandwich, vegetable wrap, and bacon/chicken wrap and they were all fresh and delicious. THEN, dessert! Oh my, the cakes are just heavenly!!!! The coffee is divine! There are small gifts for purchase and a HUGE rack of gift cards, but I was all about the FOOD on this visit. We WILL go back!

I went to Le Carrousel to have a snack and drink tea with my friends. We took scones with cream and jam. It was so good, good proportion for a good price. Lot of choices to have a drink. Thank you for this lovely time.
