Cafe Theophano - Reservar uma mesa

Went out for a spontaneous dinner. While walking around town, we noticed that a lot of restaurants were closed. Theopano happened to be open and there were a handful of people inside seemingly enjoying their experience. So we joined them. The restaurant felt a bit...odd at first because we were basically the only people in our section. However, staff was very friendly and quickly made us feel right at home. The menu is easily navigated and offers something for everyone, including a vegetarian option. We decided on a couple of dishes, were brought some complimentary bread and spread, followed by our beverages. Food arrived reasonably quick. Not too quick where you start to suspect that it's all been sitting in the back and just needed to be reheated. Not too long to make you feel bothered, either. In essence, just perfectly timed. Our dishes looked very appetizing and portions were more than sufficiently large. We took our first bites and were pleasantly surprised by the flavor exactly what we had hoped for. We had a younger child with us who did not want to eat. Staff, however, offered her cake or ice cream (checking with us, of course). She was able to look at all the cakes and then decided on ice cream which was very nicely presented and which she enjoyed tremendously. After we had finished our food, we shared a piece of cake. It was absolutely delicious and we've already made up our minds to stop by one afternoon for some coffee/tea and cake. Overall, a very pleasant and positive experience

My wife and I stopped for an evening meal in the beautiful market square. The choice was very limited but we ordered schnitzel with chips and a salad and pork with beans and roast potatoes. The food came but the schnitzel had seen better days...and the chips were really dry. My bits of pork came with green beans wrapped in Parma ham and sauté potatoes. My beans were only half the length of the other peoples we saw and were really rather dull. The food was uninspiring the price with a coke and a small beer was which was a lot for what we received compared to other restaurants in the area. Needless to say we never went back again

Even though it is a historic building in the heart of Quedlinburg, our room was modern and cosy. It is also not necessary to dispense with contemporary features with flat-TV and WLAN. We were served courtesy and courteously, even special requests at dinner were met without problems. A family atmosphere prevailed in this house. We like to come over again.

Had a nice relaxed late lunch in the outside area on the town square. Quick and helpful service, though our server only spoke German. Decent tasting food,one of us had the mozzarella/tomato salad and the other the currywurst off the small plate menu. The espresso with vanilla eis and sahne was the perfect ending.

Our food was overpriced, but still very tasty. I had a steak that was really good. However, we ordered dessert and then waited for over an hour. The waiter had forgotten about our order and didn't bother to apologize for it. Can't recommend this place.
