We always look first at the lunchtime "Menu du jour for 14.50 chf."For this price the Francis offers you two courses, choice of soup or mixed salad to start,Followed by a daily choice of a meat dish or one of their speciality Pizza.Last week we ate there on two days, day 1 we chose a mixed salad to start followed by a delicious steak.Day 2 Salad again followed by a mushroom Pizza, so large it hangs over the plate.This restaurant is always busy and disproves the myth that Switzerland has to be expensive

We have be going here for 12 years or so. Service is fabulous and friendly. Very important if you have children. Nothing is too much trouble for them, very child friendly. Best value in Villars. My daughter loves the pasta, I always have the dimitri pizza which has been better in the past but things change and at least they can source the pizza chilli oil which is yum, and the tagliata was devine. Great place.

First impressions were not favourable since it looked extremely quiet and not very inviting but once inside, we found it very welcoming with a pleasant atmosphere and lots of customers all of whom were seated beyond the bar area! Service was speedy, the food delicious, well presented and it offered good value for money.

This is our favourite restaurant in Villars. It has so many brilliant dishes on the menu, and the waiters / waitresses never fail to make us feel welcomed. Very speedy service and we enjoy coming here every time we are in town!
