Cafe Piccolo - Reservar uma mesa

Erhard Claar and his wife opened a very cozy and family café with the Piccolo years ago in Cappel. The cakes, ice cream and soups are not only homemade, but also very tasty. In addition, Sommelier Erhard Claar is the only restaurant in Cappel with country-oriented wine tasting evenings. If you have breakfast and/or want to take part in one of the wine tasting evenings in a cosy ambience with several people, I recommend registering with Erhard Claar or his wife beforehand. The ingredients for breakfast are bought by Mr. Claar. When the guests come to breakfast, the table is already lovingly covered. It's particularly nice that Mr. Claar needs a lot of time for his guests. There are several bakeries in Cappel that offer coffee and cakes, but these are, in my opinion, unpleasant mass production facilities. Conclusion: Those who want to taste homemade food and individual gastronomy and wine are at Café Piccolo.

The parents-in-law wanted us to have breakfast with us and they suggested Café Piccolo as it was convenient a couple of blocks away from their home within the village. Located as a part of someone's else house at the side and its backyard, popular with...senior citizens of the village. Breakfast came in 2 choices, small or big. Small is just sweet breakfast, with 2 rolls with jams and big breakfast comes with rolls, an egg, slices of cheese, platter of fruits, meat and yoghurt. Nothing spectacular. There were several choices of tea, Darjeeling, Assam, Earl Grey, etc. but I found it to be too pretentious when they can concentrate more on quality and quantity of breakfast served for the price they were charging than offering selections of teas. You better off getting breakfast elsewhere.

Nicht nur die Atmosphäre sondern auch die Zutaten beim Frühstück (z. B. Käse, Schinken) kommen aus Allgäu. Und die hausgemachte Kuchen sind eine Rarität. Richtige Kaffee-maschine! Schoko-kirschen oder Schoko-birnen unglaublich lecker. Gut für Kinder (da diese Familie hat selbst ein kleines Kind).

Guter und freundlicher Service. Es werden viele Sachen auch auf Anfrage möglich gemacht. Z.B. ein Rollstuhlgerechter Eingang wird ermöglicht auf Anfrage.
