Cafe Orso - Reservar uma mesa

After hearing so many great things about this cafe I was excited to visit with a friend who is Vegan, knowing there were options for her to have. The young lady serving us seemed like she had better things to do. She got our order wrong, which is an easy mistake, but didn't really seemed bothered to rectify it. I then stood waiting for about 10 minutes for my almond milk hot chocolate while the one man sat on his phone, and the lady was clearing in dishes. It seemed like a strange thing to do when a customer is waiting to be served? Once we got everything we ordered it was delicious and we were very happy with it, but won't be returning in a hurry because the staff just seem like they have better places to be.

We popped in for a beer after doing the trail but decided to stay for lunch once we saw their menu board and what other people were eating. The falafel bowl was on special and super yummy according to our son. I had the ploughman's plate, very good,( grilled sourdough with melted cheese, fresh just perfectly ripe avocado , delicious chutney, and carpacio ) and my spouse had the Mediterranean breakfast, also quite good according to him (waffles with fresh strawberries and carpacio ). Of all the places to stop in for a quick bite, I'd recommend this one : good service, roomy, upbeat, and excellent value.

I enjoyed a delicious Veggie Meze entre which consisted of fresh cucumbers, hummus, roasted red peppers, fresh green olives, and a mystery pickled vegetable that was wonderful and tasty. Lots of whole grain fresh bread, too. They serve lots of frou-frou coffee drinks but I just had black brewed coffee which was fantastic and fresh.

Had lunch at cafe orso today. Food was excellent and the service was very good. I would recommend if anyone is in Deep Harbor and wants a quick bite to eat, stop in and have a good meal, at a reasonable price.

Kids are welcome here we just don't have them today. I love the food and the coffee is probably the best on the north shore. My wife had the falafel special and I had the tomato melt. Mmmm. So good.
