Cafe Georget - Reservar uma mesa

Characterful local bar restaurant in an attractive square. Service reasonable, and our sharing platter came fairly quickly NBA’s it was a cold dish so does not necessarily reflect on the speed of the kitchen. The platter was enormous and two of us struggled to finish it. Good selection of charcuterie, four varieties of cheese, perhaps a little jaded. Big bowl of French fries and also salad garnish. Gherkins would have been nice, but for what we paid we were very satisfied prices here are very fair. We ate in the square, but were driven inside by heavy rain, just as we finished our meal. Inside the place is brightly lit and basic.

A simple café, but with tasty food and providing extraordinary value for around 15 euro for 3 courses, with about 3 choices per course. The first course we chose was terrine with asparagus, which was followed by beef casserole for me and bavette (flank steak) for my husband with excellent chips. The sweets were the strongest element of the meal -the almond tart was absolutely delicious and Crème Brule was very good..

Cosy place for breakfast (nice cappuccino and croissant). You can order and when you receive your breakfast you can sit inside. Next there is a chocolate store selling very typical chocolates having the shape of a rat.

Extensive menu, snacks, sharing platters plus the usual steaks, burgers etc.A young waiting staff who are very efficient and friendly. Reasonable prices for food and drinks.

Fabulous lunch in a beautiful setting sitting outside in the square! My husband had the slow cooked stew and I had salad-was excellent!!!
