Cabane Illhorn - Reservar uma mesa

Staff was not welcoming. We arrived with no reservation and were informed that it was full but that we could ask people sitting on long benches if we could sit with them. Staff was slow and messy. We waited 1 hour to be served and the order was not correct. One dish was missing and another one was missing some ingredients. Portions were very small but the price was not. I cannot lie the food tasted good but 25 francs for a tiny portion of rösti is not justified. The set up however is very nice, the scenery is beautiful and the furniture was vintage but nice and some blankets were available which is convenient on a cold day of ski. All in all the place has a good potential but some improvements are urgently needed.

For the second time, I went for a fondue at the Cabane Illhorn. I got picked-up in Chandolin on a ski-doo. The welcome there was nice, and the fondue, delicious. But what I prefer is to spend the evening in the middle of the mountains! Be aware though that fondues are not served every day. So booking is necessary.

Le paradis pourrais ressembler à la cabane IllHorn! vue à couper les souffles, plat cuisiné avec amour avec des produits exclusivement locaux. Accueil amical. Préféré de passer une nuit pour apprécié le réveil sur place !!!

Toutes l’équipe est sympa , on y a pas mangé, on y a bu un verre , mais je suis persuadé que c’est très bon, tout pleins de chose faite maison , que demander de mieux

Absolutely fantastic restaurant, friendly and professional staff, wonderful terrace. Worth visiting .
