C h e f s - Restaurant at Chateau de Villars

Ate in the restaurant 3 times when we were staying at Le Trincou Summerhouse in the grounds of the chateau. All 3 meals were excellent - we went to the curry night and twice to the "normal" dinner evenings. The weather allowed us to be on the terrace all 3 nights and watching the setting sun across the park made the evenings even more magical. All the food was delicious and it is difficult to pick out any highlights, although the Naan bread on the curry night was special. Can't wait to go back next year.

We ate multiple times in the restaurant during our stay. And literally, everything was very good. The meals are really tasty, there is plenty of variation, service is superb and the wines are delicious. And all this for a very affordable price. Wether you stay at the Chateau or not: you should check out the restaurant when in the neighbourhood. You will not be let down.Kr, Lydia and Hielke

We enjoyed a delicious dinner and spent lovely evening at the restaurant during our stay in a lovely house in the village. The ambience of this lovely place together with a warm welcome and excellent and efficient friendly service added to our enjoyment of a special holiday. Perhaps our next visit to the area will include a stay for a night or two to enjoy this beautiful hotel more fully.

We spent a fabulous week at CV. The food was wonderful, the setting is beautiful and the people so friendly. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks to Kevin and Bill for helping to make our week such a wonderful break.
