This is a lovely place in Rust, quite well-known and very busy. On a sunny day, the outside tables were fully occupied, so we sat in the pretty inside rooms. We ordered the highly recommended Fischsuppentopf - the soup was so salty we tasted little else (thankfully, the rolls on the table dissipated some of the salt-lick taste of the soup). The Spanferkelsulz served with pumpkin oil dressing and onions was ok, the thin, sour slice could have consisted of pretty much any cooked meat. I was looking forward to tasting the Blunz'n Kranz (a circular serving of blood pudding), alas, it never came even though we waited another half-hour for it to arrive.Wines were fine, when we finally paid, no-one asked whether something was amiss even though I mentioned that I never received the Blunz'n dish. I guess such niceties are unnecessary when business is good. The place supports Slow Food - for that I added a point to an otherwise pretty disappointing Schank experience.
