Brodards Chateau is the Fancier version of Brodard's restaurants. The other, less fancier situation is by Brookhurst and West Minister, and is more casual but always waiting a long time. This place accepts reservations and is more upscale with a fancier menu. Her signature dish is her pig spring rolls, which should not be confused with an egg roll that is fried. The spring roll is a fresh wrap of a rice-like material filled with fresh vegetables and meat. The most popular, pig, comes with an easy divine diving sauce. We came here to celebrate a birthday, a birthday and a late Mother's Day. My sister made reservations for lunch, and we immediately sat in a dining room right at the station. The room is quite illuminated, but suitable for a beautiful occasion. We ordered a Medley of Springrolls: pork beef and for entrees we ordered: a Duck salad, a garlic noodle with chicken, a Vietnamese crepe, a Udon noodle and a Brodard Chateau noodles. We got small plates to share our food, and no bowl for the Udon. The food gave us 6 and we even had some left. The sum came to $120 some tip, which is not bad, but still more than the casual brodards. The service was just okay. The waitress seemed to be rushed and did not really make our culinary experience the best. The positive part is that they take reservations.

If there were good reviews from this place by mouth propaganda, we had to pass when we were in the area. We arrived shortly before lunch, but the place was already busy! We sat right away and after I had penetrated the menu, I was thrilled to taste their food. The two of us decided on: Vietnamese pancakes/crepe: crispy and thin with many shrimps, pork bells and bean sprouts filling Grilled pork rice paper rolls (nem nuong cuon): these are the hands down that I have ever tasted and their diving sauce is to die for! I tried to replicate it at home and not get close. I could do a lot of it! Beef shaken (bo luc lac): delicate beef cubes with pepper sauce, mushrooms, onions and rice served. It melted in your mouth and although I was full at the edge of being, I could not stop! Beef stew noodle soup: this should be leaving the meal the soup was quite bland, but the brisket was so tender. Service was professional, fast and food came in no time. Ambiente was beautiful, many tables, the area was clean and well presented. If I'm ever back in California, that's one of my first stations!
