The hotel is very close to the center of the city of Bruchsal. It's location is definitely a plus, once every major store is a few steps away. The environment is very cozy and rustic (in a good way). In the main hall there are brewing equipment and machinery, a reminder of past times on which this place was a different thing. It is a simple 3 star hotel, so you should not expect luxury from it. The breakfast could have more verity, but is good anyways. A major downside, for me, is the wifi speed. Barely enough for a video call. Safety: Very secure. Bruchsal is a small town. Were there at the end of October 2023 just to visit a restaurant. We really liked it. The menu is just the right size I find it awkward when other restaurants have 10 pages full of dishes it takes forever to choose. But everyone will find something here. The price level is still affordable even in times of inflation etc. The service was absolutely prompt and always working. The quality was also delicious, from the side salad to the meat dish. We were looking for a restaurant serving typical german food, and we were pleased to come here. We were served relatively quickly and had a weissbeer. There was a menu in english that also helped a lot.

... with solid German (heavy) food and a wonderful self brewed beer that you would like (an can) take away in mugs.
