We found this place relatively easily but had to park some distance away in a residential street as the free car park was completely full. The main part of the "Brauhaus" (not really a brewery) was packed out with large group of pensioners notably...grey haired ladies. I was left wondering if they had popped over after having visited the modern church on the other side of the road. We were lead into a large side room which wasn't very atmospheric but at least a bit quieter. The lighting was far too bright to provide any feeling of cosiness. A young lady from Croatia looked after us. I had a large draught Warsteiner Pils and the pork knuckle (Schweinshaxe). This had been well cooked so that the skin was pretty crispy. All very correct. Service was professional. The waitress warmed to us slightly when we talked a little bit about her home country and recommended a schnapps from there to help with my digestion. For the three of us we paid € in fact I found the prices for most items on the extensive menu were very reasonable
we were invited to the brewhouse on the occasion of a 75th birthday. the device is rustic, the card is very diverse. all courts can also be ordered as senior court. in addition to typical brewhouse dresses such as carving or pruning dishes, there are also sour roast, Rhenish specialties and a steak market. different steaks can be combined with various sauces/additional supplements. the rumpsteak from black angus is available in three sizes. I had the women's steak with 150g, with a small salate and fried champignons with speck and twee. the meat was perfectly medium grilled, the champignons were fresh and tastefully very delicious. all the foods were served almost at the same time and were well tempered and that although we were 17 people. for family celebrations I would recommend the brewhouse at any time.
we were eating there with our kitchen team. Before we had eaten steaks in the family circle, they were delicious.But this time we were disappointed. I had ordered cordon bleu and got a cowardly product that came from the deep freezer into the friteuse. that looked like an early roll. for this price I had expected more. champignons from the dose, the hollandaise has also tasted after pack, we probably don't come back. the service was good, and everything went fast. Well, no wonder, everything was done.
