Brauhaus Bad Munstereifel

I have eaten here on my trip to the Eifel to visit the Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring. The brewery still looked in tact with the large tanks at the bottom of the building which is situated right in the center of town along the river Erft.Their menu is not big and the main dishes are mostly schnitzels with some exceptions. However the food was good and as appetizer we got a basket of bread which could be spiced up with their local mustard. A good combination. Also the beer was good but again the variety was not big: blond and dark beer is topped my most micro breweries these days. Anyway, the place was completely filled and their prices are really modest. So if you are hungry and want to eat cheap but OK, here is your chance.

Wir haben hier Dicke Bohnen mit Speck gegessen. Das Essen war schmackhaft und auch preiswert. Das hauseigene Bier schmeckte ebenfalls sehr gut und wurde wie das Essen flott serviert. Wir waren rundum zufrieden!

immer wieder gut !!Aber auch die Röggelchen sind lecker !!Dazu die schöne Atmosphäre und bei schönem Wetter draußen direkt neben der Erft sitzen - hat was !!

So lately the kitchen is really brilliant and very tasty! The desserts are also worth a sin! And even the drinks come much faster than before.

Ate at the restaurant (brewery) for two evenings in a row. My wife and I were both happy. Very simple food. They sell great mustard.
