Bräuhof - Reservar uma mesa

I'm not sure what happened here, but the photo tells its own story. The only apt description of it was 'burnt rubbish'. As the only vegetarian item on the menu, it was really that or one of the beer mats for a main course, and in hindsight the beer mat would have run out a worthy winner. I'm conscious of reviewers on Trip Advisor which claim food to inedible when it's perfectly fine, but this genuinely was a collection of charred black objects on a plate. It may have been food at some point in the past, we'll never know. What was worse is the lack of interest the waiter had in how bad the food was, commenting on the spinach burger 'it's not burnt, that's just the way it looks'. Hard to find many positives about the meal, except that it's now over and we won't have to endure it again. Much better available elsewhere!

With a group of guys from work in Steyr on a Monday night, went to the Brauhof, not for the first time.Staff as always friendly and welcoming and helpful with the menu only in German! Beer and food good with empty plates Al round, including those who took on the ice cream pancakes for desert! Helpfully divided up the bill, closing out another good visit.

We had delicious food. I had pasta with salmon, husband had risotto. Both meals were great. I had trio of desserts, husband had pancake with fruit and ice cream delicious. Very reasonably priced.

We recently was in Steyr and we had good dinners in this restaurant. Very respectable portions, and a good service. Typical Austrian kitchen. I would like to come back again to try other dishes.

Very good restaurant in the city center of Steyr with Austrian dishes and a very nice "Gastgarten" to side outside and enoy the amazing view of the Steyr Old Town
