This characterful restaurant is in the village of Casarilh on the C28 about 4km outside Vielha in the direction of Baqueira. We visited on a Wednesday lunchtime in August. We opted for the menu of the day (see photo) at €19.50 per person not including wine. We started with kidney beans with peppers and fish pate. Main courses were tuna in tomato and herb sauce and entrecôte steak. Desserts were cheesecake and ice cream. All plates were very good and very filling. All washed down with a slightly sparkling, cold, refreshing white wine €14 per bottle. The welcome and attention we received from the staff could not have been better. We didn't speak Spanish but they did everything possible to help us through the menu including bringing out samples of meat and delighted in showing us the display of freshly caught fish from Cantabria. Overall a great experience and one that we definitely want to repeat.
