We have come to Axel 's on several occasions for work-related meals, as it is close to the office and serves a variety of dishes to a variety of pallets. The restaurant is cozy and visually very pleasant. There are several outdoor areas with seating, one with wooden fireplace, and the interior is clean and organized, with several unique aesthetic touches such as a warm fireplace in the entrance and various exposed cooking elements, such as a large Rotisserie and a wood stove. The seat is comfortable and well furnished to accommodate large groups. In terms of food, there are a variety of options, with a range of starters (including a happy hour menu), various soups/salades, and many possibilities for the main course, from hand held (tacos and sandwiches) to full participants. The dishes I had or shared were always enjoyed by me and others. The service is fast, so the food is still hot when it comes to what is particularly important for the wood fired items that keep their smokey smell and taste well. The starters are somewhat small for the price, but are of high quality and are well presented. One of the highlights of the menu is the unique sauces that are offered to give them an attempt to spin on stacked items. The beverage menu is also quite extensive as they have a full bar and a number of tap beers. The standards are also available as expected, as well as some local and craft varieties. Overall, Axel 's is a great place for a group meeting or a quiet meal with a few friends. The bar also offers a welcoming environment for solo visits and the outdoor seats provide a great warm weather.

The waiter was very helpful and very well informed about all dishes on the menu. It was nice that the menu had marked all gluten-free items. The food came hot and was extremely delicious! When we finished, the waiter even brought our remains home for us! The prices were very reasonable. We definitely come back!
