Bombay Joes Cuisine Ltd

This used to be my favourite place for Indian food. The management was friendly and they always went above and beyond, but it's changed. The current management, in my opinion, does not have the same standards as the previous. The butter chicken sauce is good, but the portion amount of chicken is small and it's very dry and over cooked. We ordered rice for two (which is an Extra charge) and it was in a tiny container and barely enough for one. We also had the veggie pakora and it was almost burnt, fried in what appeared to be old grease and wasn't edible. I do love to support small establishments but in return I do expect a certain quality of food that we didn't get this time. We will try again in hoping that this was just a bad night for them.

This is a small restaurant that appears to have lots of take out, as the seating area accommodates only about 20 or so folks at 5 tables and some at the bar area. The evening we went there was only one other group at the restaurant and 4 groups that had take-out, and it appeared that they did a delivery while we were there. A hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant that took us many years to get around to going to.The service was average and it took about 30 minutes to get our order to the table. Made to order and hot as it arrived at the table. Flavourful and delicious. We had jeera rice, butter chicken, chicken balti and lamb curry with Naan and roti. Serving sizes were plentiful. We did not leave hungry.

There really isn't anything to special about this place. There food is ok. Not great, there prices are threw the roof high, and there service is mediocre at best. There are better, cheaper options if your willing to drive further to get them.

Very tasty, but no delivery. But the restaurant smells amazing! Fresh naan, minimal seating, hole in the wall kind of place, which is a good thing.

Delicious, freshly-prepared Indian food. Really enjoyed the dahl, chicken korma and vindaloo. Family friendly and low-key, but great food!
