Blue Goose - Reservar uma mesa

I knew I was in trouble when the host pointed to my table in the dining room without walking us to it. Did it to everyone who entered the dining room. Our Server was attentive and took our drink order. I ordered a cosmo that arrived with an old dried out lime. We started with a clam flatbread that ended up being a raw in the center frozen white pizza not sure where the clams were. We also ordered plain chicken wings, 8 in an order, for $14. The wings were overly deep fried so they were dried out and way over priced. I ordered fusilli with vodka sauce and chicken. The pasta was cooked perfectly but the chicken was chipotle flavored? Not sure what that was about except to say they must use their supply of chopped chicken in the kitchen for various recipes. The other person in my party ordered fish and chips that came with fries. The fries were old, dried out and soggy and the fish was so coated in a greasy batter you couldn’t find it. The server checked in us and could see the fish and chips were pushed aside. She asked if we liked it and we responded NO! She offered to take it off our Bill and we said don’t worry about it, knowing we would never return, but she insisted. She was a great server and concerned that we did not enjoy the meal. She was the only enjoyable part of the meal. I ordered a second cosmo and still the same old dried out limes. I would not ever recommend this establishment. A complete waste of hard earned money.

Food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. Live music, fun atmosphere. My only critique is that it was pretty crowded, so indoor seating may not be for you if you don’t want to be kinda close to your neighbor, especially during these times.

the blue goose has an excellent selection of tape beer as well as interesting cocktails. the food and service are also wonderful.

Great little place. Met the owner. We have two under two and everyone was very understanding. What a nice man!
