Black Horse Tavern

It's a great local watering hole. It was clean, the bar was full, someone was playing tunes on the jukebox, and the bartender was very nice. It was busy, so it took a moment to get a drink, but the food came out super fast! They've got a huge menu and their website says they serve it all until 1:30 am! We ordered pierogies $5.25), mozz sticks $5.50), and a cheesesteak $8.75), everything was tasty and the prices were great. The cheesesteak was nice and full of meat. Their menu has a whole page of specialty grilled cheeses and they also have a bunch of different kinds of loaded fries that I'm looking forward to trying. If you're looking for something fancy, this ain't it. But it will definitely be our spot to grab a couple beers and some bar food.

I moved into the area about a year ago. I used to go to the one in black horse after a long night at work. Was disappointed that they 're no longer open in the evening due to short staff which I do understand because I 'm in the restaurant business myself. So I figured I 'd check out the one in eagleville 'Germantown Pike ' I 've been there twice so far. Service is excellent. Only little drawback. There were a lot of flies in the bar area!! I had a few drinks and a few appetizers which were very good. As person that 's in the industry of the restaurant and hospitality I know it 's a hard thing to control. But other than that. I love the atmosphere it 's a lot brighter than the one in black horse.

Solid local sports bar with varied menu and combo of std drafts and rotating locals... ridiculous (in a good way) number of tvs to ensure you can watch your game... Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
