Bistrot le 7 - Reservar uma mesa

The charcuterie pictured cost €30. I had one today, elsewhere, that was 4x the size and half the price. What a rip off. Our drinks didn’t arrive on 2 occasions after we ordered them. The bread basket was stale. Service was shockingly slow. Oh, and they ignored us for at least 5 minutes whilst we stood at the bar, a metre, if that, from 2 of them drying glasses. I wouldn’t recommend here at all. The beef tartare was nice, but it came with no bread, and about 10 tiny chips.

Good pace to sit outside on a sunny day for lunch. The staff were friendly and offered us menus in English. The food was typical lunch time offerings of omelet, salads but you could also have large plates. Th drinks list wasn’t huge but it had wines abs soft drinks which you would expect from a smaller establishment. On the whole, I enjoyed eating here.

Monday night arrival in AyThere's one restaurant open and it's booked, so we try to get into Le 7.

Le 7 was our first dinner in Epernay the capital of Champagne and it did not disappoint.
