Billy Vee's - Reservar uma mesa

Just opened in Valley Junction. Atmosphere reminded us of a place where we are from which gave us a family feel with some divided rooms but still opened up enough to feel like like your eating at a family members house. Service was the best we've ever had since being here in Des Moines and the food is equally the same. The Chef even made us some to amazing bruschetta that was not on the menu and we tried split pea and ham soup for the first time and loved that too! The owner also came over and chatted with us after our meal and told us the pictures on the wall are of her husbands family from Italy. I see a lot of lunch visits in the future. Favorite new Italian spot! Thanks for bringing your restaurant over from Panora so people in Des Moines could enjoy it also!

Four of us enjoyed lunch at Billy Vee's today. The special, lasagna, was homemade and filled with meat, cheese, and flavor. The accompanying salad went beyond the iceberg to include mixed greens, red tomato slices, cucumber, and carrot, with parmesan peppercorn dressing on the side. Our friend had a pizza while her husband had the Greek salad with blackened chicken; and both were pleased with their choices. The desserts sounded great; and we'll be back.

Food and service was awesome. Homemade feeling with a homemade flavor. I loved the setting, made me feel like I was eating at home. Everything made from scratch. Today's soup was split pea and ham. The best ever for a cold snowy day. We had pasta with homemade sausage. Along with pizza and half and half Italian sausage and beef sandwich. Tell your friends. Des Moines best hidden Italian restaurant.

I love this place. The food is absolutely incredible, as is the service. Deb and Tara are very attentive and do such a great job. I love the Brie, I think it's the very best appetizer I've ever had. It's so good, even 3 picky kids will eat it! The Parma Rossi Gnocchi is my very favorite dish. I get it almost every time I eat there.

Delicious and authentic food. It's been years since I've had an Italian beef. The prime rib was amazing. Large portions. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Very friendly staff. Well worth the drive from Des Moines.
