I wanted to like this place so much. There’s no decent Indian food in northern NY. When we first got there I noticed 2 uncleared tables. Ok, whatever. They never got cleared. More people came and left, nothing got cleared. My husband’s shrimp tikka masala was decent. The naan was so hard and crunchy it just cracked when you tried to bend it and it had absolutely no flavor. I got a paneer dish and was told it had a creamy tomato sauce. I kid you not it was doused in something that tasted just like thick sweet ketchup. It was quite frankly disgusting. I ordered a little sweet treat to get and redeem the meal and also have some more food because I was still hungry. I’ve had it before many times at other Indian restaurants so I know the dough balls are supposed to be warm and soft. They were hard, gritty, cold and stale tasting. The woman taking our orders and serving us was nice and friendly but seemed to be preoccupied with FaceTiming someone instead of actually doing much to clean up. The floor was a dirty disaster.
