Best Tofu - Reservar uma mesa

You've been in Paris for a while and you miss authentic Chinese breakfast? Look no longer for it, this is the place for you. Yes it's small, yes it's crowded. No you should not expect to have a seat especially during lunch time. But......you can...take away juicy tasty meat baozi (named roubao) and a tofu pudding (douhua), either sweet (with syrup) or savoury for only euros. And they are both very tasty and authentic. You won't get a chewy unfresh baozi and watery inconsistent douhua. What else would you want? They also have amazing soya milk and youtiao (the long donuts to dunk in your soya milk). I would say, the only thing I did not like was their sesame donut, it was so oily and had literally no sesame on it, plus it was filled with very little red bean paste. Only disappointment of the day. I was looking for my Chinese fix at that time, so, sorry, I only managed to take the picture of the douhua. All the rest was swallowed well before i remembered to take pictures.

Where have you been eating tofu? Is it in Nova Scotia, San Fransisco, Seoul, London or Kyoto. This reviewer was raised on Kyoto tofu . Taste, texture, color, constituency this is almost like grading diamonds. Best tofu serves a variety of Chinese style tofu...products. They are all good. If you are looking for Kyoto then stay away, If you go for breakfast then a you tiao with a soy porridge is great.

Always crowded there. Almost exclusively Chinese people. The meatbun is tasty and the tofu pudding is great. Not not a place for taking your time to eat but definitely a good place for a short Chinese breakfast trip.

Wow this place was packed with locals so we got 2 seats in the corner facing the front window and they forgot about us because we couldn't make eye contact
