Delightful surprise at the top of the hill, the restaurant is located in a beautiful hill side near Bad Peterstal and we just made the right choice asking for the Wildragout, just flawless, tender and juice meat with the perfectly seasoned reduction including the red pepper that together with a delicious Preiselbeeren sauce was a high contrast of flavor, from fresh and sweet to spicy and so nicely presented as shown in the picture attached to this review. The Spätzle was the perfect companion for the dish. I have come to expect great food while hiking in the Black Forest, however I am still pleasantly surprised by the delightful dishes you can complement a great hike with.

Super cute and nice restaurant. We came across by mistake while hiking in the Black Forest. Location is beautiful, the food is delicious, there are many many vegetarian options, the staff is attentive and their facilities are very nice and thoughtful (disabled people toilets and tampons in the ladies bathroom). Super clean everywhere. So if you’re hiking in the area, I highly recommend you stop by!

We went for dinner and everything exceeded our expectations. It’s location at a brilliant location to provide a beautiful view while having a romantic dinner. The people are very friendly and they are also very attentive. The food was delicious; the best we had so far on a week stay at the Black Forest.

Top- food, service, views, playground for kids. We couldn't find a better place for traditional German lunch. Stunning! Totally recommend it.

Wonderful experience overall! We thoroughly enjoyed the elegant food and wine. The view of the forest was the cherry on top!
