Basilio Inn - Reservar uma mesa

9/2/23 We have enjoyed many meals at this establishment,however last night was a huge disappointment!! We arrived at 7:30 p.m. at our confirmed reservation,the waitress sat us and we placed are order, a shared appetizer,two entries and two glasses of wine.The waitress placed the order and returned with the drinks.Later the waitress returned to see if we received are appetizer,she went to check and informed us the kitchen staff stated that they never received our order and it would be taken care of .Time is passing and the first waitress never returned.Another waitress saw that we were sitting, came over and thought we were waiting for dessert.We explained to her the situation and she offered too bring us additional glasses of wine,which I replied, hopefully they are complementary for we have been waiting 45 minutes ,her response was she had to speak to the manager(owner).A few seconds passed and a waiter brought out the two glasses of wine.What would you think?Obviously, it was approved.The appetizer finally arrived at 8:40p.m.We waited 1hour and 10 minutes Ugh!! Soon after that we received the entries ,the food was excellent!! as always. Finishing up the check came showing a charge for the additional glasses of wine,20.00.We asked for the owner and he arrived within seconds and stated that the waitress never spoke to him and we need to pay for the glasses of wine.We tried to explain and he was not having any of that.Then in a flip of a moment he changed and said that he would take care of the cost for the two glasses of wine and told us never come back,you have been banned from this restaurant!! Hey folks! What do you think? Apology needed...

You do not get to be around over a hundred years without knowing how to provide an amazing dining experience. Basillo is an amazing restaurant that delivers in a quaint yet amazing way. The food speaks for itself, the prices are affordable and the service makes on feel like your welcome and that they are happy you are there. Well worth the visit. Do yourself a favor and see and taste why this Staten island institution is still around and going strong

Always a satisfying and well prepared meal. We had the risotto and the bolognese. Get the tomato cucumber salad. It is excellent. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
