Bambu Garden Asiatico

After scanning around a 2km radius for a decent place to eat, the only place that stood out among a scattering of greasy taverns, was this Chinese restaurant. So we visited, not expecting anything amazing, but it had good reviews, claimed to be partly Japanese with Vegan food. Upon entering you felt a wall of heat inside the bamboo box room where every surface was covered with plastic bamboo replica. Not much on the garden side of things, very sterile. You 're greeted with prawn crackers and anonymous red goo which clearly came out of a big tub. We were given no menus, only tiny pieces of paper with all the dishes in miniscule writing. Upon enquiring to the waiter what many of the dishes consisted of he had no idea and just said ummm... I think it has Soy sauce? So we ordered the least suspect dishes we could and hoped for the best. They arrived irregularly, with a plateful of chicken arriving way before my soup, which was the best part of the meal. The 'chicken with fresh pineapple ' however, was not. The pineapple was tinned and the chicken was just stringy anomalous blobs, in a soup of msg goo. We decided not to go any further with orders, and to cut our losses as we already felt dizzy from the heat and that our stomachs didn 't deserve any more punishment. Had a stomach ache until late the following morning. Served as a reminder not to bother going to Spanish Chinese restaurants ever if I can avoid it. Processed msg city, questionable meats and no soul.

Había pedido 4 cervezas chinas y me han traído cuatro latas de ámbar. pero me las han cobrado al precio de las que pedí 2,50 cada una.
