Baerghuis Schoenbueel

This newly renovated Berghaus is a real jewel. The large sunny terrace looks directly over the Bernese Oberland mountain ranges including the Jungfrau. Heidi's warm welcome and big smile wait for you an easy 1.5 hours walk from the Turren gondola station. Come for lunch, a cold drink or stay overnight as we did to wake up with the mountains at your feet.

Stopped after some hiking. Sat on terrace and soaked in the beautiful view. Food was well prepared. The service was exceptionally slow and there was a large crowd with only one wait person. Admittedly this area moves at a slower pace which is wonderful. The wait was too extreme and many customers became irritated. Best not to take children.

Love this place! The location is outstanding (and you have definitely earned your beer/Apfelschorle after hiking or biking up here) the staff is super friendly and the food delicious. Would love to come back.

We went up to Titlis but the view was cloudy. We decided to take the gondola over to Jochpass for lunch. Very few tourists. Great lunch. You are just below the glacier. View was great. Highly recommend it.

Fully renovated now, the place lost a lot of it's charm. Food and drinks are self-serve only. I had the smallest and most expensive sausage salad of my life... View gorgeous as ever!
