Aux Pêcheurs d'Étaples

We have no complaints whatsoever. We were looked after very well and the food was quite lovely. A very good and varied choice of seafood available. Having ordered champagne we then opted for the menu degustation' or tasting menu' but it was far more than...what one expects from a tasting menu. Each dish was very well presented and the flavours were fabulous. Our main course of monkfish was outstanding so incredibly fresh and succulent. We finished with cheese and an excellent port. Lovely, attentive staff and attractive restaurant. Absolutely worth a visit we certainly had a lovely experience here.

Took the family to this fabulous restaurant for Sunday lunch. Set above a wonderful fish market I wish there was one near me) this restaurant specialises in fish dishes . We had a selection of scallops to start served with amazing sauces. I had...the Bouillabaisse which was delicious and the fish cooked to perfection. The desserts were good especially the cafe gourmand, coffee accompanied by five mini desserts. Excellent value and excellent service.

We ate here on a busy Saturday evening the large car park was rammed and we hadn't booked, however the welcoming staff fitted us in. We had a super meal of fresh Cod with Butternut squash, and Grilled Ling on black rice delicious....This was followed by a Cafe Gourmand and cheese plate. The restaurant is quite large but had a busy, friendly feel to it and the prices relatively reasonable for the size of the plates provided. Highly recommended.

We came across this restaurant unexpectedly and we were absolutely delighted with our find. Situated above the fish market, on the river, this was obviously a popular local restaurant. The fish was fresh, beautifully cooked and the staff were welcoming and attentive. The menu was...varied and there was a large choice of fish cooked in different ways. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we will definitely return when next in the area.

We went because my parents used to visit the restaurant a lot. The staff were brilliant from the moment we stepped through the door. The menus are incredible and the such value for money. My starter came under a cloche filled with smoke and it...was exquisite. As you would expect the fish is amazing but that goes for everything else too. We absolutely loved it and would give more stars if we could!
