Aux Gourmandises De Giverny

Situated on the Main Street between the gardens of Monet and the church where he is buried. This little cafe has very friendly owners and a selection of tasty pastries and take away sandwiches. Most of the crowds don’t venture past the few cafes that are within the first block so this little gem was not over run with tourists. They also have a small gift shop that I didn’t get a chance to really look at because we were so hungry! We were very pleased with our sandwiches and treats.

This sits on the way to Monets garden and is well worth a visit. There’s a selection of sandwiches and home made quiches plus some good looking burgers. My ristretto coffee was great as was the 3 cheese quiche. Really friendly service as well

Close to the famous gardens this is a lovely place for a coffee and some beautiful pastries. A very welcoming host and a tranquil small garden to the rear that is not immediately apparent. And did I mention the pastries?

Situated on the Rue Claude Monet just along from the beautiful Monet Gardens, this charming tea room makes an ideal stop. We enjoyed iced tea and quiche.

The coffee is very good as well as pastries and top local ice creams. Very friendly staff in a nice decor.
