What a lovely restaurant, great food with very accommodating staff. My family and I were in Colmar visiting friends and decided to call in. We had not made reservation but the staff were very friendly, speak good English and very accommodating, seating us quickly and making us feel welcome. They recommended food and went out of their way to make sure that the vegetarians and gluten free individuals were satisfied. We all had a great time, such a marvellous friendly and efficient atmosphere. The food of course was fantastic, all the dishes were almost licked clean, a rarity with teenage children. We came there Saturday night without a reservation. The location is in the middle of corn fields. So expectations have been to visit a old traditional Alsace restaurant. Getting there we got told, we can not get a place, they are booked our. Conversation back and force we have been offered to sit outside. Frantz served perfect wine as aperitifs as well as main course wine after short description of our taste preferences. The food was amazingly good. When you are in this area I just can recommend, call, reserve get there.

Wow! Me and a friend visited yesterday during our business trip in France and I was so impressed! The interior is really great, the staff were amazing, but the food… just tremendous! I loved my Salad vigneronne and Boeuf gros sel crudités. My friend really enjoyed her Bouchées à la reine too, and she is a big foodie! Definitely will come again.

Excellent service and top quality food. I went for Filet de turbo and my partner had Boeuf gros sel, crudités. Everything was tasty and fresh. Thank you for the great service too, will definitely come back again.

great food, nice terrace to sit outside when the weather allows, very friendly staff, reasonable prices. the daily dish is usually sold out quickly and very good.
