Aurea's Mexican Retaurant

A real hole in the wall Mexican restaurant in Claymont. Food is always delicious and comes out hot. There is no wait staff just one waitress, however service is generally good we tip well enough that the all of the waitresses remember us so service is not a problem. I would give five stars, however they might need to do a little house cleaning every once in a while.

I came here for lunch. It was quiet. The nacho appetizer was absolutely delicious! It was big enough for 2 people and I took some home. It's a meal in itself. The waitress was quick. She never checked to see if we wanted/needed refills or ask us how the food was. It's definitely authentic cuisine. I would likely return.

This is a hidden gem that you have to go behind the buildings. Although it was hard to find, the food was amazing! This is really authentic Mexican food that you would go through Mexico City. The place was busy, but we were still well served!

Great food, large portion and affordable price. I ordered the beef tongue brittos, the beef is delicate and tasteful, five stars. They stopped on arrival and they were consistent. Good serving, good price.

Amazing food and good service, loved it so much! Just know that they don’t have fountain drinks, but it’s definitely still worth a visit and five stars!
