Aunt Yese's Home Cooking

After visiting in November 2020 and having such a wonderful experience, I had to come back while in town for a trip to Disneyland. I had the breakfast tacos (I'm a vegetarian) and the regular French toast and both are excellent. Their homemade salsa has such great flavor and heat, and I am always appreciative when a restaurant has soyrizo. I am also a French toast over pancakes and waffles person so I think I have pretty high standards and I have dreamed about this French toast since coming here 8 months ago. My family members all ordered different items and aren't vegetarians and they all are California natives and they all loved what they ordered so much that they wished we had come for breakfast every day of our trip. But what really keeps bringing me back is the service. The staff is always so friendly and clearly love the food and the place they work, and that can make or break a food experience. I don't want this place to ever go away so it's here every time I come back.

Hard to find Mom and Pop Café. The reason I mention this is that while Google Maps brought us here to the second attempt, it was hard to see the shield to the vicinity of the facility. Perhaps this is due to the outdoor tent seats that are set up in the parking lot or because the interior seats are smaller than the tent and the shield is covered, but we found it difficult to discover from the road even if it is located from the main road. The portions are plentiful, but the taste lacks something. I ordered the salmon Benedict with added avocado. The salmon was big and had bones in it that would have been okay when I disposed of the benedic, but the muffin was either swollen by the salmon or the egg and I had to borrow the sourdough toast of my nabeby to eat the egg. The French toast was overdonated and crispy, and the cheese Omelet had grilled the cheese above instead of folding it into the egg mix. The best was the service, it was quick attention and care.

Such a great breakfast place!! We sat outside in the open area and had such a great time! The customer service was great, they were really quick bringing the food out, and the food was soooo delicious! The chilaquiles were so good and the French toast was amazing!! It tasted like literally a home cooked meal. It's dramatic I know, but it was that good! I will be definitely passing by again!

Five stars because the restaurant has good food and the staff is very nice and polite. But the parts are only HUGE! The coffee cup is more a coffee container. The omelet was enough for 2 people (3 if they eat little) and they served us 7 bread? Bread! And that comes from someone who lives in Texas

Ordered the French toast and Sam's vegan breakfast Burrito. The French toast was incredible. Ate every bite. Breakfast Burrito was just fine. Service was very helpful, friendly and fast. Would definitely recommend a friend.
