"Amazing set lunch at a really good price: this restaurant is all about the ingredients, cooked to perfection but the chef. We had lunch on the first day after holiday break: a quiet lunch - only 3 tables - in a lovely and cozy room, soberly decorated with beautiful pictures. Service was warm and friendly, the chef came out a couple of times to make sure everything was good. A big recommendation if you are looking to connect with local flavours."

My sister and I enjoyed one of the best meals of our lives here. We started with a great (very fairly priced) bottle of bordeaux, and a complimentary truffle mushroom soup which we'd have happily each paid $15 for! We shared the fois gras appetizer, and the mackerel appetizer, both of which were great and the latter of which included a scoop of mustard sorbet that was surprisingly and insanely good. I opted for the kidneys for my main. They were cooked perfectly and came with a sweet carrot foam which paired perfectly. They were also accompanied by morcilla in long pasta covered in a cream sauce - beyond delicious. The best dish of the night was the merluza fish my sister ordered that came with a buttery green foam. It was so rich that it tasted like the sweetest lobster you've ever had. Cheese and mille feuille for dessert were both fantastic as well. Nice added touch - the chef came out to speak with all of his diners, and the woman running the show (apparently the chef's wife) was a fantastic server, offering great recommendations. Our entire meal - bottle of wine included - cost about $130. A meal of this caliber in NYC could easily run $600.

We arrived in Bayonne on a Wednesday, a day when many restaurants and bars were closed, I've no idea why. However, using Trip Advisor whilst exploring the Town Centre we came across this place and are glad we did. Some reviews state this restaurant as Michelin Starred, we did not find that on the Michelin website but did find compliments there and agreed with them! The staff were extremely hospitable explaining the complex menu in English to us kindly. The dishes were all beautifully presented with great flavours and the Grand Marnier Soufflé which is one of their 'signature' dishes is truly exceptional! The set menu was incredible value for money at €25, and quite delicious. If you can, do make a reservation as the restaurant is not large. Highly recommended!

This is the only 1star Michelin in Bayonne and it deserves in my opinion 2 stars. The place had every table occupied and we were lucky to get a place as we only booked at 19.00hrs. The food was really excellent and the service was superb also as was the wine list. The chef met with diners and he told us that he had worked in some of France's most famous kitchens where he clearly learned a lot. The flavours are delicate and he used subtle tastes to great effect. I look forward to going here again and on our return from Spain we even thought of making a 150km detour just to enjoy another meal.

Wonderful gourmet restaurant located in the heart of Petit Bayonne. The exterior has the classical have timbered appearance. The restaurant itself is lovely, with fantastic attention paid to the service. The lunch menul is quite a bargain, especially when you consider that it is traditional Basque food, but done in an extremely high quality style. The chef was quite nice, having rushed out to say goodbye to us. Try to arrive early, as they wish to stop service at a reasonable hour. Definitely make a reservation for dinner. One of the best dining experiences we have ever had.
