Atlantis - Reservar uma mesa

we had a table reserved for the restaurant and having arrived in advance, we drank an aperitif waiting for other friends to arrive, sitting on comfortable chairs. We ordered an unlikely waiter. .a prosecco fr. 9, other cocktails from fr 12.50 and 14.50 and as accompaniment a small bowl of popcorn....with these prices could also bring something extra. At the time of the arrival of the others, we wanted to add other armchairs, but the waiter, always what he served us, immediately blocked us saying that we could not because later other people would arrive that they had reserved. So he brought us a couple of stools. So we decided to get upstairs for dinner. here fortunately nice and smiling waitress. we ate well, not cheap prices, but it seems they are in the standard of basile.

My opinion is the best place in the Basel city, this glamorous and traditional restaurant offer the biggest concerts I have seen, some of my photos were taken at the Brazilian carnival in Atlantis 1985. I also saw the best musicians of instrumental music there: Hermeto Pascoal, Egberto Gismonti, Naná Vascocelos, Sebastião Tapajós and Baden Powell. The owner Onorio Mansutti at this time invited many other musicians and painters and always participated in the high level of world culture and created some social assistance programs, called NGO children in Brazil. Atlantis is also a great food and drink, my favorite place in Basel, forever!

Very frineldy and helpful team. We started with a drink outside and got a nice table in the restaurant on the upper floor. Very delicious aspargus dishes (soup, risotto, as main.) Great atmosphere.
