Ashoka - Reservar uma mesa

The rogan Josh was just not like it used to be. Just like chicken had been put into a ready made sauce. I have had many meals in this restaurant and it isn’t as good as it used to be. Chef has to have changed...since lockdown. Coffee choice at the end, given a menu and six coffees to choose, we asked for cappuccino and latte, they said we don’t do it. Everything we asked for a specific coffee he said they don’t do it! We went for all they did was Americano with milk. Asked for a glass of Sauvignon blanc wine, don’t do it, had to have Pinot Grigio. Disappointed.

I have been visiting the Ashoka for the past 25 years but due to covid we havent visited recently . Today was the the second takeway from Ashoka via just eat Unfortunately , the chicken tikka masala was very watery and tasteless unlike the thick...tasty sauce it used to be. I am so disappointed and won’t be ordering again.

quite average eating and rather bland. the service was polite. a pretty boring experience at an unnoticed place! nothing to hate, but nothing to recommend it. if they want to know a “safe what they will go, no surprise place” this is!

the best Indian in eastbourne, great service on the phone, very friendly, every mouthful was tasteful and I could not stop eating the delicious food. big high five to all chefs eating has fired me right after a long day after work

I visited here several times and was never disappointed. the rezella is excellent and conservative is quite fast.
