Really loved this place. Really interesting and eclectic decor, welcome antidote to the more traditional bars and restaurants in the town if your looking for something a bit more off beat/creative. Food was fantastic, changing daily depending on what the ownners want to make and...included dishes from all around the world. Especially loved the home made cakes and desserts! Good local bretange beers. We didn't see any bands when we visited, but was told that they put on loads of different bands/djs approx once a month. Couple who own/run the bar are really lovely and there is a fantastic welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The owners also speak English, which was good for me as can't speak French very well! We stayed in the holiday rent cottage in grounds behind the bar, (space for only) fantastic views of the town, great spec inside as recently done, really reasonable rent. Although near the bar, because of hill top location of cottage it was really relaxing staying there, no noise at night sitting outside the cottage and felt like we were genuinely away from it all. Pon Aven and surrounding area beautiful as well. Bar is realy central but tucked away up a street near the main square (about mins walk) so look for the sign or google map/facebook it to make sure you don't miss it

The bar/resto serves a great variety of bar food, made by Abi (one of the owners) on site everyday. Menu varies from day to day, but is based around tapas like dishes and light meals, although there are more substantial dishes available. The menu is...like the deor and atmosphere of the bar, which is creative and welcoming and a little bit different from other 'normal' bars in the town. We ate the spinach and parmesan balls with sweet chilli sauce and the toasts with sea weed tartare and mackarel fillets. Both were great. Desserts are all home made as well and were delicious, I had the chocolate bread and butter pudding with baileys cream, yum! Bar serves great local beers, but be aware that these can be quite strong according to the type! Can throughly recommend this place and would definitely go back again

I'm so fortunate to have been introduced to this cafe By far the best coffee in Pont Aven and delicious homemade cakes. Great evening scene as well, and the food is top notch. There's so much to look at, it's clear the owner is...an artist

this is like no other place in pont-aven - unique ambience, live music, films, unusual nibbles. only a minute by foot from the museum yet feels like you've found a hidden gem

My boyfriend lives here and is delighted that I'm leaving the complex very soon.
