the arkadenhof itself is a restaurant with style and taste of the upper class in linz, namely in the arcadedes - therefore the name.So far logical and it has a huge outside terrace in Mediterranean flair. only the plastic flowers on the table - well. we had seen a advertisement in the internet: bbq steak nights! 14.07. steaks and seafood such as lobster, jakobsmuschelen etc.First: a grilling is not yet a barbecue. but this is half as bad, is often thrown into one and the same pot in whole Europe. but: we had reserved for 20:00 and were on time and got neither lobster nor jakobsmuschelen. it was all over. to lower blood pressure in the neck cables, I grabbed a few oysters from the buffet table, which could also have been more nice to make, e.g. on ice and seetang. After all, there were freshest French oysters who waited only more after a drop of lemon and a few grains of pepper to be enjoyed. fresh sea fragrance, soft consistency, good bite without being tough - so must be an austere. also the compact size made lust on more. in the meantime, I read on the grill already the garnelen brutzeln, beautiful big dinger. also here: top quality, no müll from a Vietnamese farm. a fine, pure taste. to the flesh: I left the chicken left, the pig as well and went immediately to the bark fillet in attack position - with success. unfortunately somewhat thin, but wonderful consistency, butterfly and on my please also really only fried a minute on each side. the table on which was dressed, was extremely sweet, once applied in the warmers has nothing really feeling well. I would like to mention a highlight: fantastic Arabic kiss was presented as a supplement.wowm

great service, excellent kitchen and super atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for and found. I especially have to praise a waitress - the names I unfortunately don't know, was a short-haired blonde - on her recommended we ordered as an appetizer spa gel cream soup, beef tartar and a fritatten soup. tastefully it was very good, the soup was a little too thick and the beef tartar too rough, but it did not bother us. as main dishes ordered asparagus-cordonbleu, a chicken carving and kasnockerl. the foods were great dressed and tasty, but the salad was too sour and inedible. to the complaint was immediately reacted, we ordered an salat without dressing and get as soon as possible. the friendliness and the smile of the waitress has made us beautiful all day. we are happy to come back!

I was back in the arkadenhof with my wife and we both had the roasted eggnails on leaf salad. as I often eat egg-sweet, I am aware that it sometimes cracks between the teeth. in the arkadenhof, however, the swallows are obviously not washed, because there was a sand or earth in the mouth. it has crawled with every bite. unfit! we have complained and want to try the same food again, but the tried waitress came back from the kitchen with the info that there is only the swallow! incredible, this statement. how good is the rest of the salat washed? we surely don't see this overpriced pub anymore.
