Annahof - Reservar uma mesa

this year we were again to christmas to eat in the annahof. already the reception below was not just overwhelming. You can expect that the guests at such a day will be at least "frohe Christmas" desired. only the nice waiter up, who then served us, did that then. on the table assigned to us was not on each teller a menu card. if you put them next to the teller, then it should be on every teller. we were only three. Otherwise, they are placed in the middle of the table. I did not find it fitting that no Christmas decoration tasted the otherwise beautifully covered table. we then chose our menu, a la carte was unfortunately not possible, but for that I have understood on such days. at least one was not forced to consume 5 passages, but one could choose only 3. the suppe was in order, the feldsalat with twats however already drowned quite in the salatsosse. the then served main dish kalbsbäckchen very disappointed. it was so sweet. the whole plate up to the edge full of sauce, the kartoffel valleys so dark fried or frit that they were hardly to distinguish from the dark sauce and the möhrengemüse as a wrought orange-brown slices was the only color stick on the teller. the meat was tender and tasted good. Overall, I felt the foods quite salty, but this is a taste. in comparison to the other years no amuse gueule or amuse bouche the so-called greeting from the kitchen, served. there was only a little brot with salt butter. the wine we ordered was good but with 30 euro the bottle was also overpriced. open weine were not offered.The crowning conclusion that dessert was visually as a disappointment. totally sweet a small ball hasel usseis, besides a beige-grey half-dipped something, should be the leb pie mousse as well as a chocolate chick. tastefully it was o.k., but finally the eye eats too. I still have photos of the previous years of eating in the annahof, there are worlds in between. that can't have been the same cook or what is it? as a final espresso - last time a small stage with delicious baked etc. was added. this time only the obligatory supplement: sugar and a chocolate bean.Everything more disappointing. we have not thematized it our hospitable before location.

by accident we discovered the annahof during a walk. the beautiful terrace with a view of the wine has tempted us to enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. the order proved difficult. the two tables next door - the guests had come after us - were served before us. well, that can happen. the order was accepted, already with the notice of the service "hopefully enough the cake still suffices." He has been enough, but apparently were made of 2 pieces 4 pieces. also the guests at the side table received mini pieces. the coffee had been waiting for you for a long time - the coffee machine has started an automatic cleaning program that you could not stop. then the bill: 10 euro for 2 cups coffee and 2 mini pieces strawberry cake. to the sarcastic demand of us, whether there were smaller pieces, the waiter replied only with a little no. an apology or demand for our dissatisfaction would have done well, but did not come. very bad, so we're not coming back.

on the 9th juni we were eating in the annahof - unfortunately we didn't know better! At first we had to wait until another table was covered (although the restaurant was still completely empty!.) the culminator was, however, that instead of the ordered quiet water medium water was brought water. the complaining was aborted with the words: this is still water with us! normally still is still in the Saarland. the food was below average and so we had to go after eating quite expensive in the place still pizza. but that was excellent! we cannot recommend the annahof in any case.

we always like to go to the annahof. in summer you can sit beautifully directly at the Niederwürzbacher weiher, but also in winter the ambiente is very stylish. the service is great and the food is also very tasty. price / performance is right! only recommended! :)

we were here in novembert. unfortunately, from my own, the menu is a bit too clear. what's on it is nothing extravagant. the food was good, but did not necessarily meet the claim that the excellent service and the ambiente had expected.
