If you are looking for an "out of this world" experience and you appreciate amazing food and ambiance, look no further!! This little Gem is tucked away in the most unassuming suburbs of this little touristy town. What awaits you is a lovely smile from Chrissy ( the owners daughter) and a warm Welcome from Mr and Mrs Zwick (the Owners and Chef de Cuisine of Ambiente). The Restaurant itself is simply classy, beautifully decorated and IMO the most romantic in the entire region. I live in the US and whenever my husband and i go to this region (which is 1-2 times a year) we must get our fix of this amazing Restaurant. The menu offers everything from organic local meats and vegetables prepared by Richard Zwick right in front of you ( the Kitchen is part of the Restaurant) to exquisite various Seafood dishes. Ambiente offers several prefix menus ... amazingly combined 3-5 course meals....but you can also create your own meal a la carte. Don't miss out!! Wir kommen allerdings jedes Jahr 1-2 mal nach Deutschland und freuen uns jedes mal das wir unser geliebtes "Ambiente" wieder besuchen dürfen. Die Familie Zwick sind nicht nur die nettesten Gasgeber ... aber wenn ich nur an all die leckeren Sachen denke die auf dem super Menu stehen dann läuft mir regelrecht das Wasser im Munde zusammen. Ambiente bietet Gaumenfreude für jeden Geschmack...vom regionalem wild, super leckere Rindersteaks, locale und exotische Meeresfrüchte und nicht zu vergessen ein traumhaftes desert. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch im AMBIENTE!!

The host stops in April and retires. At the moment there is a farewell menu and the restaurant is fully booked. The decor is very nice everything is clean. The tables are covered. The food came relatively fast and was of very good quality. What really bothers me is the open kitchen. The smells are distributed throughout the restaurant and the sounds from the kitchen are disturbing. The host seemed very stressed and tense, no smile was visible. The service was very friendly and also very stressed.

This Restaurant is amazing. If you are in this region and you like fine dining...this is your place!! Not too stuffy ... very romantic and ideal for a special occasion. I have been there many times and this is definitely not a family Restaurant. But if you are looking to have a sophisticated dining experience with someone special or a business dinner...this is perfect!

Infelizmente, este restaurante não está mais aberto. O proprietário se aposentou !! UMA VERDADEIRA TRAGÉDIA !!! Vou sentir falta deste lugar!

Unfortunately , this Restaurant is no longer open. The Owner retired !! A TRUE TRAGEDY !!! I will miss this place !!
