Amarin Thai - Reservar uma mesa

This place used to be one of my favourite Thai joints about 5-6 years ago. For some reason, I'd not been back to this place for about three years and decided to visit it again last week. Firstly the interior has been redecorated making it look darker than previous. More shockingly though... The food standard has gone down. We ordered the sea star which came out soggy and tasted bland. We then ordered the stir fry chicken which was over fried and tough to chew. The squid tasted rubbery and had too much salt. Overall such a disappointing experience. I doubt I'd be coming back here again.

The food flavours were decent however not value for money. The portion sizes were very small for what you pay. We had a group of 6 and ordered 2 pad thai's, 1 fried rice and 4 mains to share including 2 curries however all left unsatisfied (and still hungry). Given there are a lot of options in north Adelaide for good Thai food, Amarin may need to lift their standards slightly. Disappointing overall.

What a cute little Thai place nestled in North Adelaide! It's artfully decorated which creates a wonderful atmosphere.

Golden Boy was booked out so we went for a 'trusted and known' restaurant and they didn't disappoint.

Tucked just behind Fellinis it is easy to miss this place.
