Nevertheless we could enjoy the magnificent view of the landscape on the back and the nearby mouth as well as the island with the mice tower and see and admire the individual details on the mighty building.

the germania is a very impossnates monument and you should take time to consider the times in rest and also the one or other screen with information about the monument. they have built a good six years on the diekmal. the germania is only 12.5 meters high (without sockel). overall this has a height of 38,18 and weighs 75 tons. they can imagine how hard the people had to suffocate for this monument, it was inaugurated in 1883.

Beautiful seating with a view of the Rhine, right on the slope. Pleasant atmosphere. Delicious wine and good food at fair prices. Directly at the cable car station with connection to the hiking trails.
