A beautiful location for a trip in Ammersee. After a long walk along the lake you can warm up with a cup of hot chocolate. The interiors are traditionally rustic and radiant cosiness. The service is friendly. On Sunday you have to wait a bit, as with many excursions. In summer there is a huge beer garden under high trees. You shouldn't miss it. The original Bavarian treats such as Brezn, Radi, Sausage Salad, Hendl are available in good quality and at affordable prices. Summer and winter are both places well visited. The guests are usually locals or come from the vicinity and other surroundings.

Never again. If we often and like to be in this beautiful location, it is now a disaster to go there under the new host. Most of what we ordered on my birthday seemed frozen and in the micro. It was noticeable at which speed the main course came to the table during the appetizer. So fast (about 10 minutes can not be prepared for several people. The potatoes as a supplement were old and flat, the fish was hard and dry. We could only take the escape and just guess.

Great view of the Ammersee. Very well maintained restaurant with good food. Very friendly service. On the terrace it can be held well. No reservation was required on a nice day on Saturday noon!
