Alte Taverne - Reservar uma mesa

Been coming here for years and it never changes....it's always delicious.Extremely good value for food, wine or beer and the meals are huge.From schnitzel to the delicious cast iron plates everything is yum.Potatoe pancakes are awesome.Service is fast and very friendly.Outdoor area if weather is good.Give yourself a treat and head here. Couple of minutes from the Neubaugasse metro and a street back from main shopping street, just a few seconds from NH Wien. Got cheap, tasty, enormous portions this is the place.

We were looking for a quick metal, and got it here. The food was fresh and home cooked (we heard the chef pounding the schnitzel in the kitchen), but the place was quite dirty. They did however, as opposed to almost the rest of dinning Vienna, accept credit card. That earns them 2,5 stars.

the alte taverne serves good home made style food. the location is good and the beer is running. but it has the same things for years. it is good but some changes are needed

The food in this taverne is traditional and Delicious. You get a lot of food for your money. Recommend to go her if you want simple but good foos

Nice little restaurant. Food is very good . You can smoke inside . Prices are ok. Big variety of schnitzels. Friendly staff and atmosphere.
