Alpine Restaurant Bar

We came to the grange on seeing it on social media being recommended as caravan and motor home site well worth a visit , it certainly is , from the minute we got here we were welcomed by john and Katie the owners who checked us in , showed us all the facilities and to our pitch which is very spacious , although hard standing , being one of the larger pitches for a very small fee per night extra it also has a large grassed are too . Electric nominal charge water and grey waste disposal all on the pitch . There is an on site restaurant also a cafe and it is part of a site that also has a garden centre and a couple of small retail outlets all totally separate from the caravan park only 1 .5 miles from the town of melton Mowbray and a dog friendly, small roadway no cars to get you there , the shower facilities were all new and second to none, the place has a very relaxed feel to it but no visitors stag or hen doos and no access in or out at the quiet times later on in the evening which is for us a bonus and we do search these places out . A gift of fresh bread and a scone were brought to us as we were setting up as a gift from john and Katie nice thought and even a treat for Ollie our springer after tea . Excellent place excellent value for money and we will be back .

So pleased we were travelling to the area and decided to book a table, this delightful Garden Centre was a lovely surprise. We had a light lunch with a shared portion of homemade chips absolutely yummy really good selection on the menu, we will definitely...

Whilst the atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly and the service good, if you drink coffee go elsewhere. The cappuccino was so weak it was like warm milk.Even though the barista said she would add another shot of coffee, when it was given back...

We had been told the breakfasts were very nice but on arrival found they were not served after 12 so we decided to have 2 Toasted sandwiches and 2 cappuccino coffees, thin slice of ham with very salty cheese, the salad consisted of 4 leaves...

Visited for breakfast, which was nice, but the music was incredibly loud. I asked for it to be lowered and was ignored until I complained again.Come for the food but bring earplugs.
