Alpenlodge Kühboden

I enjoyed a lot of stay in the Alpenlodge Kühboden and I would definitely come back. The location of the hotel is very convenient, it is located within the building of the cable car and immediately next to 2 chair lifts, so very easy to pass through the room during the ski day if you have forgotten something (they also have a dedicated place to leave ski boots and skis next to the rooms) The booking of the room includes a tour of the cable car from Fiesh in the valley to Fiesheralp. Breakfast, also included in the booking, was a very good buffet with various options. Since we are in the COVID period, a table was assigned to me throughout my stay with my name, and for dinner the hotel restaurant is closed, but there is an agreement with the Alpina Hotel right in front and my rösti was very good. The room is simple, but clean and quiet. Finally, the crew was extremely flexible, helpful and service-oriented. As a solo traveler, I find Alpenlodge Kühboden a very good option and I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Order the family treasury (family part) for €40, get a huge plate with chips and friikandellen and a large pitch. Too much food for 4 adults and 4 children! Good luck.

Had lunch here during out trip to Aletsch, the burger was extremely delicious and the price/taste ratio was good. Very satisfied!
