we ate here with a group of seven last weeks. we were pre-ordered, it was not busy and we were not impressed. terrible service. that is why I gave this place such a low assessment. don't get me wrong, eating is amazing, but for the price it should be. simply do not expect to ask yourself several times! they bring their own water when they are plastered. once we had a drink with our disappointment that we fought to get more drinks for the remaining two courses. and the kicker a 12.5% service fee on a big bill that just tells us about the service we paid. again, it was very expensive but great.

If you want to find something special and impress, maybe what you're looking for. fine eating in islington. crisp white linen cloth, glasses gleaming and restaurant set beautiful. the food is presented well and breathtakingly. my seabass was cooked to perfection with al dents vegetables on the side. personal attention, but not intrusive. elaborate.

I started with a slowly cooked chicken, asparagus and jersey kings. it came with a beautiful, dark orange gooey eigelb (as they do on master boss and was wonderfully comforting. it surprised me that I arrived with a spoon and took the form of a suppe (cheeky menu trickery). spargel is correct in season, so was also top notch.

this place was very expensive for the location, service and quality of food. it was beautiful, but not woven, but ends around £80/head for a cocktail and a two cure meal dissert. the food quality was beautiful overall.

Nice!. Love this place. Excellent French food, nice atmosphere and great staff. One of the best places in Islington to eat, and always reliable.
