"we decided to eat here, because it was very busy in st. guilhem and we (wrongly assumed that the latter would be more expensive. there are a few restaurants in this quiet place in st. jean. it was on the afternoon at 2:30 a.m. and that was the only restaurant that was served (we asked us on the other 2. the menu was limited (but that was ok with us to moules frites, huhn (avec frites and salat, all around 12:50 euro. my partner chose the moule and after the question about the salat (it would have chosen that after the waiter I chose it. after a reasonable time (there was another couple in the restaurant at the time when our food arrived. I was shocked to see my 12:50 Euro salad. a few shreds of eisberg salat, a few very then slices of anemic tomaten and a fiber band of gurke, with a few cabinets of a vinaiigrette (home made I doubt!? and a (artistic!? flu around the edge of the shreds. To be honest, mcdonalds would have done much better, would have been fresher and would have cost a fraction of the price (both in dirt layers I do not eat at mcdonalds! . in august in this part of frankreich they are surrounded by beautiful markets that are flooded with wonderful obstinate and sweet (although free from eisberg salat! the moule of my partner were edible, but the portion size was too small for a main course. we had to ask for brot, but he was almost done when it arrived, before I left, I asked to speak to the manager and to express my unbelievable. no refund was just a quantity of hand waving. it was the worst case of a restaurant that was demolished, I have insulted the customer without repayability or in some way (some places could offer them a free glass of wine or a desert or something. I can't say eat here!"
