Bella Pizza is the new pizzeria that has been in Königsbrück since the end of December. Inside it looks typical Italian: a few tables with chairs, a large counter, refrigerators for drinks and a large pizza oven. He'll be in the eye. In addition to the oven, cartons are stacked for delivery from the house. “Most customers order the food and get it themselves or we deliver it to them home,” explains the head of the new pizzeria, Vitor Manuel Costa. Many of a month, the pizzeria is now open, and there is a trend. “The many separate house orders also have something to do with Corona, people prefer to eat in their own four walls,” says the boss. The restaurant is also a typical pizzeria and not an Italian restaurant. The menu is designed for fast snack pizzas, a few pasta dishes, burgers and salads. Owner Vitor Manuel Costa is Portugiese, he came to Germany in 1992. Now the 49-year-old lives in Freital with his wife and four children. On the Internet he searched for a house suitable for a pizzeria. With the thought of opening a gastronomic device himself, he had played for a long time. Now the thought should be put into effect. In Königsbrück he found the house on Old Post Road, which was for sale. Previously there was a record and model railway business. “In the GDR time, every bridge player has bought an Amiga record there,” said Mayor Heiko Driesnack (CDU), who is pleased that after the many years of the open places life has moved back to the house. Vitor Manuel Costa bought the building in spring 2021 and began renovation and renovation. “We have made everything new, from floor to electricity, walls, kitchen to furniture,” he says. How much he has invested so far he doesn't want to say. This hasn't happened yet. Since over the pizzeria, the entrepreneur is currently expanding apartments to rent later. Three employees are employed in Pizzeria. One of them is Luis Rodrigues, also Portuguese. He has lived in Germany for 30 years and lives in Freital. “I like the work here in Königsbrück,” he says. With skillful hands he puts the pizza and puts it in the oven. Then a little rocket on it, and already the food is ready, comes on the plate or goes into the carton. Like his boss, he learned his craft from other pizza bakers. Vitor Manuel Costa is satisfied with the answer in the first month. “It is still very crowded, but it fits,” he says.
