"Delicious afternoon tea at a venue we could both drive to and park. Very friendly and helpful staff who were very welcoming buzzing atmosphere in the golf club as it was a sunny day! Only comments would be not all empty tables had tablecloths so the room did not feel ready for guests and the toilets did not flush easily."

"Have visited twice now. Love the ambience and the way they have integrated old with the new. All the nooks and crannies are still there so it’s definitely been renovated with a lot of thought. Many staff are young, new and inexperienced and could do with some more training to set consistent standards. Seemed to be unclear what they should be doing! Service was slow (both times) and this time my meal came way after everyone else’s had arrived which was disappointing and no apology. Food is ok but more healthy veg , not just broccoli as a side option would make it seem more wholesome. I will go back and give it another chance as it’s our local."

"Came into the pub this afternoon with my husband and my child. We was served by a young lady called Ellie who couldnt be any more attentive and helped entertain my little boy which he loved! We had the Christmas burger which was absolutely delicious...and the prawn linguine which my husband would definitely be having again. We will most positively be coming back."
