"Today, after many events and shopping and visits, there was finally time for a break and I felt the sense of something light, not stressful and yet close, like vegetarian, like low fat. It was only this spring that the Neutor gallery opened in Dinslaken, a modern, generously designed shopping center with sufficient parking facilities and very interesting places. My cousin suggested that Kikko, from whom she had heard a lot of good in the circle of friends. It should be a good thing, but I couldn't believe that when the premises were entered. The Kikko is located on the ground floor of the Neutor gallery, in the outside area with enough window fronts. The restaurant stretches over two floors and feels like a pompous disco or an oversized bar in a Russian city: golden chairs, very much glitters and flimmers and light plays, a huge, long-drawn tresses with impressive spirits on the shelves above it, as well as a chilled wine cabinet of considerable dimensions. We were immediately attentive and professionally greeted and routined. Luckily, we found another four table directly on the window; there it was very bright and friendly and you could easily follow the road. Kikko as an Asian local pursues an interesting concept. You can order a la carte, but the All-you-can-eat option is the actual hit and especially at midday. Between approx. 11:30 and 16:00 you can order various dishes for 2.5 hours, namely 8 different per person per pass and with a maximum of 10 passes. I don't dare to figure out what incredible total amount this could give. The final price? Unbelievable 13.90 Euro per person. You will be ordered by I-Pad and will be happy to receive an instruction and explanation on request. You can choose the desired dishes per pass, which are then prepared in the background in the kitchen megafresh and meget-fast and are immediately brought to the table after completion, almost like by magic hand. The Kikko is mainly Japanese oriented with: Sushi, Sashimi, Nigiri in the most varied variations appetizers such as Edamame, spinach with sesame, soy sauce, fried tofu, various soups, rice, noodles etc. To make it short: we only managed three passages. But my enthusiasm knows no limits. All the selected dishes were absolutely delicate, incredibly fresh, authentically spiced, of the most unique quality. They were prepared instantly and concentrated by the thoroughnesses you can look into the kitchen and immediately professionally served. The porcelain bowls and plates are fantastically beautiful, we eat in principle with beautiful small sticks, who weakens, can naturally request European cutlery – but this is huge and heavy and a bit too pompous. Wasabi and ginger discs are constantly updated on request, a box with soy sauce is on the table. Taxation is not allowed because: “Use is not estimated – order I'm asking you to eat as much as you can. The remains – as a result of overorder – are calculated for sushi and salads with 1,00 € and for warm dishes with 2,00 € per dish.” Very lonely and imitative. In the evening the price increases and you can order only 5 dishes per person and round. Drinks go extra, of course. My Cola light came in a thick-walled large glass, my cafe cream very strong in a heavy cup. The milk portraits were opened to me by the waiter himself. The service was great and unbeatable anyway. They felt just as pampered in the Schlaraffenland and from scratch. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not have its own toilets, but you can use the very clean, very well maintained and generous of the shopping center for free. An elevator leads to the upper floor in Kikko, where the toilets are just around the corner. Even hours after my visit, I am very pleasantly satisfied and amazed at the cost-effectiveness with maximum service and highest quality of food. If I were to live in Dinslaken, this could be my tribal place."
